It’s always amusing when kids start to imitate us, whether in figures of speech or body language. We’re not quite sure how Kade learned to kick back and watch TV with the best lazy-Sunday-in-the-hammock posture, but one day he just started doing it, generally with us as the furniture.
Sierra always looks so angelic when asleep. We have found, however, that it is best to let sleeping angels lie; she grows horns and wields a pitchfork when awakened early.
Terra is nearly four years old, but still retains some puppy habits, most notably chasing her tail and getting carsick. She is also very puppylike asleep: always wanting to be in contact with someone else when snoozing, and (as shown here) sometimes sleeping on her back with all four paws in the air.
