Legoland in Denmark was Sierra’s favorite country during our 2007 trip to Europe – this time we saved the time and expense of international travel. Sierra and Kade are are the perfect age for the park – they’re big enough to go on all the rides but not so big as to be bored by them. The Denmark and California parks are similar but not identical. The miniatures are better done in Denmark, but the US version includes a mini-waterpark missing in Billund (unless you count the rain). Identical rides seem a little tamer in the US, perhaps due to liability concerns.
Kade is finally big enough to ride the roller coasters, though he is still getting accustomed to them – his apprehension is manifest in the movie clip as the coaster goes into the first drop.
