These pictures are from a quick trip up to Henry Coe State Park, among the live oaks of the Diablo Range. It’s the best time of the year to go – the rains have stopped, the wildflowers are out, but the heat of summer hasn’t yet turned the hillsides brown. We didn’t do much, but the kids got their campfire and smores, so it was by definition a success.
