Our third of three trips during the summer of Covid. We went up to Lassen Volcanic National Park with our friends the Gulsens as part of a Covid ‘bubble’. Lassen doesn’t get nearly the visitation that Yosemite sees, making staying away from others a little easier. We visited the park’s geothermal areas, went on a short hike to a nearby lake, survived a brief but intense rainstorm, and saw the comet Neowise.
