Together with another Assistant Scoutmaster (David Zhang), Don took 9 boy scouts from Palo Alto to Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks. The highlight of the trip was a four-day backpack down the Grandview Trail and around Horseshoe Mesa in Grand Canyon. Apart from some early rain in Zion, it was a beautiful time to be there; the wildflowers were in bloom.
